PRIVACY
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Radian ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit getradian.dev, apply for our beta program, or use our service.
Radian is operated by Andrei Motin, an individual based in the United States. Questions: privacy@getradian.dev.
What we collect
We collect the minimum information needed to operate the service.
Information you give us
- Email address — when you submit our beta signup form.
- Platform preference — whether you applied for macOS or iOS access.
Information collected automatically
- Approximate country — derived from your IP address via Cloudflare's
cf-ipcountryheader. We do not store your IP address itself. - Browser and device — your User-Agent string (browser type, operating system version).
- Referral source — the URL of the page that linked you to us, if any.
- Timestamp — when you submitted the form.
How we use it
- To send you updates about beta access availability.
- To understand where our beta interest is coming from (referrer, country) so we can talk to people in the right communities.
- To respond to your inquiries.
- To detect and prevent abuse of the service.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, scoring, or sale to third parties.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with third-party service providers necessary to operate the service:
- Cloudflare — hosting and storage of beta signups (Workers KV) and content delivery. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Resend — sending notification emails to us when you sign up. Resend's privacy policy.
We do not sell or rent your information. We may disclose information if required by valid legal process (subpoena, court order). If that happens and the law allows, we will notify you.
Storage and security
Your beta signup record is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, a globally distributed key-value store with edge caching. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We rely on Cloudflare's and Resend's security practices.
No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we use industry-standard practices, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use cookies for tracking, advertising, or third-party analytics. The site uses no advertising trackers, no fingerprinting, and no cross-site tracking.
If we add aggregate analytics in the future, it will be a privacy-friendly, cookieless option (such as Plausible Analytics) that does not collect personally identifiable information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Deletion — request that we delete your information.
- Correction — request that we correct inaccurate information.
- Portability — request a copy of your information in a portable format.
- Opt-out — unsubscribe from communications at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@getradian.dev. We will respond within 30 days.
For California residents (CCPA)
You have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, the categories of sources, the purposes for which we use it, and any third parties we share it with. You have the right to request deletion of your personal information and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information.
For European residents (GDPR)
Our lawful basis for processing your information is your consent (when you submit the signup form) and our legitimate interest in operating the service. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@getradian.dev. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Data retention
Beta signup records are retained for as long as necessary to operate the service or until you request deletion. After the beta period ends, we will either migrate active subscribers to the launched product (with notice) or delete unsubscribed records.
Server logs and analytics are subject to the retention policies of our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare, Resend), generally 30 days or less.
Children's privacy
Radian is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, when significant, by notifying you via email if you've signed up for beta access.
